MY COMPUTER IS COMPLETELY FROZEN!! HELP!!

Okay soo like i said my computer is completely frozen. I dont know what to do!! Every time i turn it on it starts up good until it gets to the main screen then it completely freezes and i have to unplug it to turn on again!! This happens all the time soo i dont even try anymore!! Someone please help me!!!

    More info is necessary.

    What type of computer? Custom built or OEM (HP, Dell, Acer, etc)

    Have you done any troubleshooting so far?
