So I installed ubuntu on my laptop. Problem being, my wireless card doesn't work. I've ran the system update and poked around google. Apparently the driver for the 3945 is supposed to be integrated into the kernel.

I'm really confused. Can someone help me get my wireless card, because without it then ubuntu isn't a whole lot of use to me. What do I need to do?

not really. I installed it because my friend itstalled it on his netbook and everything works beautifully. but this, not so much. I'll probably just stick with Win 7 then. :( I really wanted ubuntu to work

See if it's one of the proprietary drivers in system -> administration -> hardware drivers and install wicd
