PC game launcher application

There will probably be a simple one word answer to this but I'll ask it anyway because there will probably be multiple applications to chose from. I'm simply interested in knowing what is the best all-in-one PC game launcher application that takes all your installed PC games and puts them in a library and all you have to do is open up the launcher, chose what you want to play and go. Looking for something similar to what XBMC does for organizing xbox games installed on a hard drive, just instead for PC games. Thanks for any responses:)

I have been working on a similar project for a few months now called the Aurora Game Manager. unfortunately the core components are still in heavy development and are not activated, but Maybe someone might find the current Idea enough to give you an idea of how it will look in the end.

I am almost done the core features
-Add Game to Library (with beautiful box art)
    -Remove Games from library
    -Launch Games in library
    -Search for games in library
    -Select Favourite Game

This will be completed and seen in an alpha release

after that the following will be released in a beta release:
-Tracking (Hours Played per game, Overall Favourite Games, Last Played)
-Badges (Based on Time played, time of day, day of month ect)
    -Skins (Supporting Custom Skins)

Thanks for posting Epicmaster. In the past we've always been supportive of small/indie devs and their projects (like Core Temp from "The Coolest", for example).

We hope you engage the Icrontic community and stick around for more than just sending out links to your site. Your project seems pretty cool, so we'll let it slide that it's a link in your first post ;)

Combine that with a comparison and direct buying link for all the major download outlets (Steam, Origin, GOG, Direct2Drive, WFWL) and you will have the ultimate app to marry all your games into one interface.

That's actually something im planning on putting in the next version of the game manager.

Right now its just a conceptual idea dubbed Aurora Net

Its essentially the mesh of all online gaming services into one simple, beautiful page which can be accessed through the Aurora Game Manager which would act as a portal to this site, or online on the web

    it will have
    -Youtube Gameplays + trailers
    -Wiki entries
    -Gamespot Reviews + Screenshots
    -Metacritic
-Automatically checks for cheapest place to buy game (Amazon, D2D, Steam ect.)
    -Facebook + Twitter

all on one page instead of having 5 seprate tabs to get info on one game its all in One app to rule all of gaming!

    Super exiting!:D

Sorry for double post, thought this deserved its own post

I'm actually looking for help to make this a reality, this app is one of a kind. Many have tried, most have failed and the rest are only average. I know I can do better, but it will take way to much time to get the quality high enough to appeal to an audience of gamers.

The Game manager is currently coded in Java using my own custom libraries to accelerate the process. If anyone knows Java swing or Java in general, or even better if anyone is passionate to be of some kind of help I would gladly accept the extra hand in achieving this vision. ;)

Something I've been looking for forever:

An application that can manage my game library and allow me to keep track of my backlog so that I can do a "complete your backlog" group thing on Icrontic. Raptr comes close with its huge library of video games, but they don't have an API so that a backlog app can be built on top of it.

Do that, and we will help you pimp the hell out this thing! :D

If you are talking about having the app essentially keeping track of the games you have completed and those you have not, im not sure thats an actuall priority at this point. I really want to avoid feature creep.

Right now the list of features wont change to be honest, If I were to add anything, it would be a simple Save Game Manager integrated into it.

a niche feature like a backlog tracker would be something added for later versions of the app when everything is in place.
