Pretty new comp and having this problem since day one, Windows explorer just keeps crashing sometimes more frequent than others what could be causing this madness and how can i stop it?

Hey.

I dont see any viruses in the log, so we're going to have to run a scanner to see more information about your computer.

Download at your desktop DDS from one of the links below:

• Double click the tool to run it.
• A black Screen will open, just read the contents and do nothing.
• When the tool finish it will open 2 reports.
• Copy/paste both reports back here and remove DDS from your desktop.

I downloaded ran it and nothing happened, i tried the second link and the same thing happened. When the box comes up says press any key i did the box disappeared i waited a half hour and nothing happened.

Lets try this one then.

• Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
• Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
• Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
• Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<<will be maximized) and info.txt (<<will be minimized)

It is absolutely completely random. I can be reading news on the internet or going to play a game it just stops and crashes over and over.

Lets see then.

Open the start menu. Click All Programs. Select "Maintenance". Select "Problems Reports and Solutions". Click "View Problem History". Look for the crash/error in question. Double-click the report in question. What is that data?
