Eschalon: Book I from Basilisk games?

Anybody else out there playing Eschalon Book I from basilisk games. it reminds me a lot of old rpg games from the late 80's early 90's.

    I played through the demo, and I liked it, but it didn't grab me quite enough to get the full version.
