    and in the end, this only help reaffirm my feelings that I'm happy I never followed either one of them in the first place.

    Have you tried blocking aplusk? I wonder if that would do anything...

    Also did not jump on the bandwagon, and I'm glad for it. The only time I'll follow "celebrities":

    a) if they're a really hot chick

    b) if I want to have sex with them

    c) if I've met them and actually talked to them IRL.

    Well I have been having a conversation with someone else on Twitter who would like to "unfollow" aplusk so I tried following and then unfollowing him myself and it worked for me! So I guess it must be some kind of problem that happens to some and not to others.
