Great job!!!
Tnkx....
John.
Both boxes, by late in Feb, will have motherboard upgrades. With the P4 box adn a Linux client I do not need the forceasm switch, it does not matter. But, forcesse pumps output to 1.15 times the WU output without it.
The Barton box (XP Pro SP1a plus part of the networking for SP2 with part switched OFF by services to eliminate NETBios probe replies, and only switched on from time to time when need to transfer data using switch part of router) likes ALL switches used for best results, it wants the forceasm switch, and the Barton emulates SSE2 just fine.
Client 4.01 used on both, with Core_78 release 1.55. P4\Linux runs console, I am using the graphical client (on P4 box, Barton 2500+) with graphical display minimized to get minimum overhead from display refreshing out of client and thus deloading it-- doing just that pumped output by 3-4 percent.
John.
