Toshiba audio driver error with vista..

I have a problem where my windows explorer constantly crashes due to the audio driver, apparently there is a conflict with that and vista or something... I was told on another forum on this site. How do i go about resolving this issue.

    Are you using onboard audio or separate sound card?
    What is the error?
    What driver version do you have?
    do you have Vista SP1 installed?

    onboard audio
    The error is Windows explorer stopped responding..
    and yes SP1 is installed

    it sounds like a driver issue. Would I be right in saying that you have tried updating you soundcard drivers?

    Correct, its up to date..ever since i bought it no new update.
