Premiere Elements 7.0 -choppy audio - EMERGENCY

edited June 2009 in Internet & Media
I've created a 18 minute presentation. On playback on the computer everything is fine. I "share" (save) the file and then burn it to a dvd. On playback on my dvd player the video is fine but the audio is choppy/sort of slow.
I need this for Saturday!!! HELP!!!

What is the bitrate of your video, and what kind of audio is it encoding? mp2? Ac3?

I think that there must be a problem with the software that I was using for burning. Tried with DVD Santa and also with AVS Burning.....On Dvd Santa that sound (was choppy) and then would vanish after about 1 minute....in AVS Burning the sound was just choppy from beginning to end.

I burned a dvd using Easy DVD Clone and the sound is not choppy and is much louder.

Could this be a codec issue?

    MPEG - 4000 bit
    PAL 720 x 576
    AC3 - 224 kbps

On the computer all plays well.
When I burned using DVD Santa the sound was choppy and then vanished after a minute. Using AVS the sound was choppy and low volume.
I've now burned with Easy DVD Clone and every is okay.
Could this be a codec issue?
