cursor jumps around! help!

Whenever I try to type something, the cursor goes to the beginning of the line. I had to restart my computer 2 times to write this. Whenever I click on my desktop icon it automatically goes to the right. bIt is as if my keyboard keys art stuck, but they are not. And as I try browse the web, it is very bothersome to scroll down because it scrolls to the top of the page. it took me about 20 minutes to write this because it kept moving to the beginning of the paragraph

    Plug in a new keyboard and tell us how it goes.

    i have a wireless keyboard, it still does it..

    it is on and off, like right now it has been about 5 minutes since the cursor has moved or the page moved or anything moved randomly.

    even without the wireless mouse and keyboard, it does it.
    i changed the batteries farely recently

    Does it only do it in your browser or in other programs as well?

    when i click on an icon on my desktop, it quickly selects the one to the right, like instantly, as if the left arrow is constantly down.
