ASUS P5KPL-CM boot problem

Just installed a ASUS P5KPL-CM with a Pentium Dual 2.5G. It boots but when it tries to go into XP it locks up.

Oh the memory is brand new also 1GIG stick. Anyone had this problem before????

    Have you re-formatted? If you have changed your MB you will have to re-install windows.
