PFN_LIST_CORRUPT error after Norton uninstall

My XP Pro gave me a "PFN_LIST_CORRUPT / Stop: 0X0000004E (0X00000099, 0X000A88C4, 0X00000001, 0X00000000) error after uninstalling all Norton products from my pc and reloading my copy of SystemWorks 2003. I've seen some remedies for this but none mentioned Norton. Has anybody else ran into this issue?

Asus P4G8X Deluxe mobo, P4 2.53G, XP Pro, 80G IDE w/OS + 4 sata drives (2 x 1T raid 1 and 2 x 250G no raid) rosewill sata controller, ATI 9500, Antec Sonata case.
