HiJackthis Log Help Please!

I inherited this computer running Vista from my boss and ever since I have had problems getting to certain sites. I can't get to Adobe to download Flashplayer, can't watch any video and most recently, can't get into support forums at Lavasoft to download the most recent definitions. It won't let me do an update even after I followed their instructions in their support area. I've set up everything to have access through the firewall so I don't understand why there is a constant connection error. Oh.. and Firefox shuts down non-stop. VERY frustrating.

You guys were so great here in helping me out with some malware I had on my diehard computer (so sad to have to change!) that I thought you might see something in my log that I may have missed. I'm not familiar with some of the stuff in the log... but, again - the computer is inherited.

I've run AdAware and Spybot and they found no trouble - just deleted some cookies. I also ran cccleaner.

    Please note that all instructions given are customised for this computer only, the tools used may cause damage if used on a computer with different infections.

    If you think you have similar problems, please post a log in the HJT forum and wait for help.

    Download and Run RSIT
    • Please download Random's System Information Tool by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
    • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
    • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
    • Once it has finished, two logs will open:
      • log.txt will be opened maximized.
      • info.txt will be opened minimized.
    • Please post the contents of both log.txt and info.txt.

    Hi Katana,

    You already helped me with my request when I accidentally posted in the resolved and inactive area. Another expert moved my post to the correct area after you had started assisting me.

    Everything is golden! I still have to follow your last instructions of uninstalling a couple things, but I'm running really well now.
