I found a 16x DVD drive on the refurb list at newegg.
Anyone know where (or if they exist) to get a CD-RW/DVD combo or even a DVD+-RW??

the only ones i've seen have been made for a laptop. Dunno if they'd work in a desktop.

as far as I know Pioneer is the only maker of slot load drives.
I don't know if they are still making them though.

Be careful with them. I've used three or so without a problem. But a friend of mine had one that scratched his disks all to hell.
The ones I had were all pioneer (115's i think)
