    I saw a few RTs of this. It's kind of funny, mainly because a lot of people have been using it as their primary/only e-mail for several years now. I got mine in 2004, and never looked back.

    I do like the new features they rolled out over the last couple of weeks. The new arrangement for labels is actually quite nice. It keeps the clutter down, particularly when using built-in chat.

    At this point is the use of "Beta" even relevant? It's been out for so long. These days everything is a beta when launched:

    Smartphone OS
    PC OS
    Software

    Everything gets updates, new features due to demand that class said feature as "missing".
