Windows reboots on startup

Hi guys,

I woke up today, came downstairs, tried to turn on the computer, waited for it all to load up and then wondered why it had rebooted itself as soon as the windows loading screen had came up. After watching windows reboot the PC I noticed it got a blue screen, not the BSoD but a blue screen which disappeared after a few seconds.

Can anybody help me out?

I have decided just to reformat windows and start again. It's been running slow for a good while now with various problems.

Hey vertman... yeah. Windows defaults to "Restart on critical errors" which means the system will not stay to show you the Blue Screen Error... it just restarts.

If you need any help getting things backed up or help reinstalling, let us know.

Let us know how that reformat goes, but I suspect memory.

Dad (Bothered to you lot) helped me format and everything's going fine now just need to re-install everything, but I can do that as I go along. Thanks a lot for the help even though it was too late, I only have one problem which is a problem with MSN which I'll make a thread about soon. Thanks again.
