Slapped-together junkbox!
So just out of random thought today, I realized I have every single part I need to contruct an entire computer, save for a motherboard, just lying around my room. Here's what it's gonna end up being:
Thermaltake TR2-500W PSU
SMG Viper v1 Midtower
Gigabyte GA-P31-ES3G motherboard (new, buying simultaneously with 8GB of low-voltage DDR2 for my gaming PC)
Intel Conroe duo E6600 CPU
4GB OCZ PC2-8000 RAM (although it can only actually run 933, not 1000)
2x Seagate 320GB Barracuda 7200.10 drives (probably standalones, no raid)
Integrated Audio / LAN
ATI HD4850 512MB video
So once I get the board and the system put together, the question becomes what do I DO with it. To this, I have no answer. All I know is that by purchasing a $50 motherboard, I suddenly have another PC instead of a bunch of loose parts.

Music server isn't a bad idea either.
I've no idea how to set up a mini cluster or even what I'd do with it.
Folding will most likely be done. I can't see myself using it for gaming (since I have an actual gaming rig) so I'll likely install both the CPU and ATI-GPU folding clients on it.
