    Windows 7 has been hard locking on me sporadically since I installed it. It runs great on my Thinkpad T400. There were only a couple of drivers that weren't built in and Lenovo has beta drivers and thinkvantage software for Windows 7, so installation was really simple. I'm hoping these drivers solve my hard locking problem.

    Lenovo has been a very close partner of Microsoft in the Windows 7 process. In fact, they were just featured on the official Windows blog for their role in development. Lenovo is a great choice for anyone looking to get a notebook prepared for Win 7.

    I am such a die hard Thinkpad user. I wish everyone used them.

    i still can't enable aero for win 7 with my intel gma 915..any idea how? or is it still not suppoerted?

    From what I've seen... Aero is not supported by the GMA 915 chipset. Not 100% on that though.

    That's correct. GMA915 does not support the WDDM model necessary to enable Aero.
