OMG, I wish my Q9450 was a Q9550.

As title says. With my new low-voltage ram, I've discovered that a) the ram runs fine @ its rated specs (533MHz 1.8v 5-5-5-18) via the use of a multiplier. By further use of a lower CPU multiplier I found my northbridge to be unstable above 450MHz. After significant testing and playing with the voltage, I have determined 480MHz to be the maximum stable speed through my P45 NB (@ 1.24V, I don't want to kill it). The Q9450 is taking it like a man, though... 1.3375vidcore, 3.85GHz, and it seems to be 100% stable.

WTB 10x CPU multiplier.

Edit: Or heck, even 9x. I'm stuck using 6x, 7x, or 8x.

Oh, and as a note to Thrax in particular - I did take your advice. All my "Auto" voltages are now on "Normal", except for the ones I felt it necessary to screw with. I feel more comfortable about the potential longevity of this rig now.
