So all this trouble I've been having with fallout 3, finally made me decide to go for the pain in the ass troubleshooting step. I deleted all local content, uninstalled GFWL software from my PC, defragmented my games drive, and then re-downloaded fallout 3. This time, when I installed, I used Fallout Mod Manager to put the DLC in and an app that removes Fallout 3's dependency on xlive.dll to start.

WITH GFWL: Idling and playing pipboy radio crashes within 30 minutes.
W/O GFWL: Left pipboy radio running for 3 hours solid. No crash...

So yeah... another quality M$ product.

I hate GFWL, I bought the first DLC that came out and It wouldent let me play it because I'm not 18. I'm 17 so I can legally buy the game and I bought the DLC, but it it refuses to let me use it.
