I'm totally new to using AD, so having created all the users and groups and assigned users to groups etc I wanted to produce some output which showed the users and their group memberships and the groups and their members.

I know I can do this on an individual basis, and I have done so on the business critical groups however, is there a way I can run off a 'nice' report which I can email a couple of people etc.

I took a quick look around and nothing obvious sprung out so I guess it's either trickier than I thought, will require additional software or a combination of the two.

There's no clean way that I know of to do that. You can right click on an OU and export it to a text file, then manually combine the text files into one big list (dropping them into excel works pretty good for that). But I know of now canned way to do what you want.

There probably are 3rd party programs to do it if you google around, they likely won't be free though.
