My AXP 1800+ @ 2.2 Ghz suddenly became unstable.
Well all of a sudden everything went bad.
I first noticed the problem in championship manager 03-04.
I tried loading my game, and all sorts of errors appeared.
Then I tried a torture test with Prime95, two days ago two hours passed without errors.
This time it crapped out after one minute.
I am at 1.8V Vcore and temp is fine.
If this is what I can expect of this Thoroughbred, it will be changed to a Barton very soon.
Here is the stepping on my 1800+

It made 5 passes and no errors.
I guess it isn't the memory then?
Scandisk have scanned my system drive and the drive containing the game.
No errors, didn't do a physical scan though.
I will try lowering the clockspeed if the problem persists.
I have found the problem. *sigh*
I didn't have enough space on the drive that the game was installed on.
Cleared up some space, and the game i running fine.
Well at least I got my memory checked out.
Thanks for the effort though.
