Multimedia EQ Blues

Anyone know of a good multimedia EQ program that is shareware. I've just dusted off my old Iron Maiden stuff and finally got it converted to Mp3's and it sounds like hammered owl dookie. You don't realize how good digital stuff sounds until you break out your old LP collection.

    How'd you convert it in the first place? As far as I know, an EQ program can only do so much. I don't think "hammered owl dookie" falls within its capabilities :p You might look at your process thus far and see if there's a better way to do the initial conversion.
