Pure virtual function call? Had this error occur today and I can't really make sense of what Ive researched online... Please help!

Ok.. what were you doing in IE8.. just surfing?
Try updating java.. do you know if Java was running on the page you were viewing?
We need a lot more info.. does this error identify what process was running or what module the runtime error occurred in?

Go to
www.java.com
and get the latest update.
Then, once it is complete, go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove every Java or Jre except 6.0 update 15. I believe that will be the one there when you are done with the update.

this is actually the error that occurred after i updated java.. sorry i forgot to add that with the screenshot

ok all java is removed other than 6 update 15
