Tor Broswer runs super slow!

There's one internet website forum I've had 5 or 6 accounts banned from for stating my opinion, telling people when I think they are an idiot, and promoting my own site. They finally blocked my IP address.
But it didn't take me long to find a way around it, software that hides your IP or routes the traffic through other IPs.
I'm using Tor Browser for that one website only, but it runs SUPER SLOW. I'm talking 56k Dial up modem slow!
I was wondering how to make it go faster, maybe bounce it off of fewer IP addresses or something.
I was reading about the Tor browser today, and it says that it uses a Firefox browser to go to internet sites.
So could I just download the new version of Firefox, set something to block or fake my IP address, and use it for that one website and get things done much faster there?
I know, I should know about Firefox by now, but I'm still stuck on IE6, and I see more and more sites, like Youtube, telling me that support for IE6 will end soon. You know me, hard headed as ever!

If they've banned you SIX TIMES, there is a SOLID REASON for it, just gtfo and leave them in peace!
