trying to download shockwave

I am not great on a computer, ok. I don't get that yellow bar at the top to help download the Adobe Shockwave program. I set my security to the default settings too. I have Windows Vista and don't like it much at all. No matter what I click, I don't get the button to download the Shockwave program. Would anyone please help me figure this out? My son is trying to do his on-line classes and apperantly needs that program. He is using a "Play-doo" program thru his school. The "play-doo" program says he needs Shockwave. ??? Help! Thank you.:thumbup

    It sounds like it is a problem with your settings in Internet Explorer.

    You could always try using FireFox or Chrome instead?
