Is this still not working? I've got 48 shiny new E7400's at work, but whatever runs needs to be a service.
Is this doable?

I think it works, it's just not officially supported. The Folding forums recently had threads saying they managed to make it work - I'd start there.

If you are doing with the console SMP client all you need to do is go into the advanced options when installing, I think, and it ask if you want to install as a service. Or you can add it to the Startup folder, shortcut, and it generally works.
