'VIDC.YV12" error in Windows 7

edited September 2009 in Science & Tech
Hey All. I don't mean to beat the drums on this error again, but I recently installed Windows 7 on my test machine and installed GK along with a host of other encoding tools. I get this error whenever I start GK on Windows 7. I am current on all my codecs and updates. I know that others were having issues with Vista and GK. Could this be the same issue?

PS. I would also like to say Hello to everyone, I just came across your site today.

Looks like GordianKnot didn't properly register XVID as a valid YV12 codec.

Edit the registry as seen at this link, and that should fix the issue.

    Welcome to Icrontic. :)

Where did you install your codecs from? The Gordian Knot codec pack?
