Not sure if Im in the right forum to ask, but Im sure someone can help me here.

I recently built my first computer and everything is working beautifully. The question is, when I first boot up, the BIOS screen comes up and at the bottom of the screen it says AMD ????.....update to new DMI! What does that mean? Is this something I need to do? I guess I need to go to AMD's website and update my processor? Not really sure, but thought I would come in here and ask.

I have.......
Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P
G. Skill DDR3 1333 RAM 4GB (2 x 2GB)
AMD Phenom II x3 2.6Ghz AM3 Triple Core Processor
Raidmax Aztec Tower
OCZ 500W PSU
WD 320 HDD

Thanks for the info guys....:respect:

I did a bit of googling and it seems that problem is safe to ignore as long as your system is running fine. I'd definitely recommend flashing to the latest BIOS though just to be safe.

thanks Ardichoke. I went to Gigabytes website and did an upgrade to the bios there, but not the most current one, cause I wasnt sure if it woiuld hurt my system or not. Im still a newbie and dont want to mess anything up. Thanks again for the reply!
