toshiba harddrive

hey mates i have a toshiba hd model hdd2188 it will format only up to 50%. question is does anybody know of any utilities out there for such a harddrive:hair:

    What are you attempting to format the drive with? We need more information before we can provide a detailed answer. Computer make / model, and operating system would be a good start.

    It may be possible that there is resore data is on a hidden partition that is protected and not letting you overwrite it. To my knowledge Toshiba does not make a HD utility available to the public outside of their own repair centers. What have you tried so far? Why are you trying to reformat the dive?
