    Mayhaps they were speaking of Susan Chambers, executive VP of the "people" division? Certainly makes sense.

    Do want PS2 emulation. Please. Via firmware. Anything else is unacceptable.

    That explains why they pulled it from the firmware. They want us to buy our games again.

    I'm glad I got my PS3 just before they pulled the PS2 compatibility. This situation is win/win for me, but it sucks for anyone who wants a PS3 or got theirs after they took out the backwards compatibility.

    Well, personally, I'd rather they get it done via firmware instead of coming out with ANOTHER PS3 with another hardware rendering solution, but that's just because I only have a couple games I care about. For those that want to play a ton, though, that does bite. I hadn't considered it that way either.

    If Sony starts to sell all PS2 games on PSN, then that would mean that the resale value of these out-of-production games would go way down.
