I always knew this day would come, but this used to be talked about a lot during the netburst days, when effectively cooling some of Intel's top-end processors became a huge issue. I was more in line with AMD's platform, but many people though that liquid-cooling might become standard on high-end computers so Intel could continue to squeeze more clock cycles out of the netburst architecture.

If I'm not mistaken this unit is also available as an option on HP workstations.
Does anyone know if the Asetek unit is available for resale?

The Corsair H50 is built by Asetek. I'd wager it's the same unit but with Corsair branding.
