MAX PCIE speed on X4 Max X16

i downloaded the CPU-Z

and i wanted to chech why my Graphic card not running max performance

i found out why but i dont know how to Fix it

my PCI-E was set on X4 for some reason

Link width x4 MAX supported X16

is there a way i can fix it to X16?? or that X16 is for overclock???

    Guna need a bit more info to be able to help you. What motherboard, CPU, and video card are you using? Exact models please. How many PCI-E 16x slots are on the board? How many are you using?

    That motherboard doesn't have a real 16x pci-e slot. It's labeled a 16x slot but it's actually a scaled back one put on budget boards. Sorry man, but you're hardware limited to 4x no matter what on that board.
