Power Supply Worries

I've been looking at getting a Radeon 5850 to replace my well aged GF8600. It occured to me today though, what if I don't have enough POWAH? I'm running an OCZ 600W power supply currently, one of the 80+ certified ones at that. I just got it after my motherboard took a nose dive a few months ago. This is my current system:

  • GigaByte GA-MA770-UD3
  • Athlon X2 5200 - Deneb core
  • 4GB dual channel DDR2
  • 4 7200 RPM SATA drives
  • 2 optical drives

None of the power calculators I usually trust have been updated with the 5850 specs yet. So what do you think Icrontic, will that power supply be enough to handle the GF8600 to Radeon 5850 upgrade or am I doomed to buy yet another freaking power supply?

Good to know. I checked out the NewEgg power supply calc with my specs and a 4890 since they don't have the 5xxx series in there yet and it said I would need at least 622W, but then I thought "Wait a minute, this is NewEgg, they're probably just trying to push more expensive power supplies."
