Good tip and thanks!! As much of an Apple-fangirl as I am, I've held the same gripe against the earphones. Now the rubber strip encircling the ear buds on mine has peeled off, resulting in further discomfort - so I was just starting to look around for a better alternative. Thanks

Perhaps I misunderstand your question (and please correct me if I'm wrong), but anything that accepts a 3.5mm headphone jack will work with these earphones. The only thing that won't work is the microphone if the device doesn't support it.
If it supports a microphone via the TRRS (Tip, Ring, Ring, Sleeve) on a 3.5mm plug, then you should have success. After looking at the audio capabilities on the G1's Wikipedia entry, it is not immediately clear whether the adapter supports TRRS or just TRS (headphones only). Your best bet is to ask a G1 owner or a T-Mobile rep.
Must say, I totally regret buying these. None of the 3 sizes of pads will stay in my ears and I have to constantly reposition them if I'm walking/running/moving at all. Never had this problem with a pair of earbuds before (and I've had dozens)

I have the exact opposite experience, Ardi. These are the most comfortable earbuds I've ever owned and they stay in perfectly no matter what I'm doing.
Guess you've just got exceptional ears . My wife has the same problem though. She can't get _any_ earbuds to fit comfortably.
Yeah... I don't get it. I haven't had problems with other earbuds. I have a pair of VModas that fit me wonderfully. Even the ones that came with my Nexus One fit fine. These ones won't stay in for anything though. To be fair, looking very closely at the pictures posted on your article, it looks like they have changed the design of the rubber part that is supposed to hold them in... mind are clear and more dome-like than in the picture. Perhaps I got a slightly different, and poorly designed, revision.
I just Switched from a pair of skullcandy headphones and bought these since it was all i could afford. I was wondering if these are durable in areas such as school because i have a tendency to carry my earbuds in my backpack.

NO! NO! NO! I just bought these and all I can say is they are SHIT SHIT SHIT! They only look cool, the quality is about as good as an unflushed toilet. The sound of them is so bad, it's tinny. It sounds like elevator music. 0 sound quality at all, what a cheap piece of crap. I'm returning them.
I feel like beating this dead horse. iFrogz has a couple different models all named similarly. The ones that I got (and complained about) are the iFrogz EarPollution Luxe. Avoid these things like the plague. They won't stay in your ear and they're not particularly comfortable. To top it all off, the way they are designed makes it so that if you have ANY ear wax, it will end up right in the electronics which eventually ruins them. I finally gave up and threw mine out last night after a frustrating night at the gym where they wouldn't stay in my ears and I couldn't hear anything out of them anyway.
The above is not the same as the iFrogz EarPollution Plugz, however, which I have never tried. After my experiences with the Luxe's though, I'm not exactly in a rush to do so.
i bought a pair of these last Christmas and they were awesome, but they broke and so i bought a replacement yesterday. They didn't work the same at all. The sound quality was horrible compared to my old ones. The sound didn't alternate ears like, you know how it has that cool effect with guitar or bass starting in one ear then switching off. well it didn't do that. and the vocals were fuzzy and distant. so did they change or is it just the pair? do they make two different kinds?
I have three pairs of earbuds right now. One is the Samsung earbuds that came with my Epic 4G, one is the iFrog Ear Pollution buds that I bought for $20, and another is the Skull Candy $20 earbuds with 11mm drivers. The Skull Candy earbuds are the best by far, but they don't have a built-in microphone. The Samsung earbuds are almost as good as the Skull Candy earbuds, and they have the built-in mic. The iFrog earbuds are not worth buying, they wouldn't even be worth giving away from free with a new phone. They are crap. Now I'm wondering what happened that they decided to lower their quality at some point, because of this last post. I would be very disappointed to know that they had, at some point, lowered the quality of their products, but what I do know is that as they stand now, they are crap, and you can get much better earbuds for the same price.
