I think power draw is going to be the interesting stat. If the 4770 sat around 80 watts loaded, this should only draw a little more making it a suitable upgrade for ailing OEM machines with less than stellar power supplies. Would I do a new build with it? No.... Would I suggest it as a kick ass upgrade for someone with an open PCIE slot and a 450 watt power supply of questionable quality, hell yes.

A crossfire build of two HD5770s would also be a really low-power way to get a lot of graphics performance, if they really are only consuming 80 watts at full load.

ATI is shaping an excellent 5xxx line-up. It will really hurt Nvidia to sell that huge GTX275, even GTX260, at a lower price than this card.
