    I've never been a big RTS gamer, but I have to say the screens here are top notch. I bet it looks amazing in motion.

    How far into the future has the story moved? There wasn't anything I recognized except what appeared to be a Mammoth tank with riot shields on the front.

    Edit: I lied I noticed some predators and flame tanks. Most everything seems to have had a significant design change though.

    Kane is still alive, so it can't be THAT far into the future.

    Not a spoiler, btw, since he shows up in the teaser vid that came out a few months ago.

    Not sure how far in the future the story is, but the third and final act of Kane's Wrath (the expansion to Tiberium Wars for anyone who didn't know) takes place approximately 5 years after the events of the main plot of Tiberium Wars. I read somewhere (sorry, can't remember where) back when it came out that Kane's Wrath (in particular, the third act) was supposed to be a kind of a preview for C&C 4. So approx 5-10 years after Kane's Wrath is my guess, but don't hold me to it. ;)

    Just looked up some articles on it Colgere is right it's only like 10-20 years in the future but that's not what concerns me. EA seems to be taking the purity and goodness of what Westwood created and defecating all over it.

    On what basis? With the exception of C&C Generals I feel they stayed pretty true to the gameplay, story and propensity towards campy cut scene acting. I love CnC RA3, I haven't played Tiberium Wars yet sadly. I've been meaning to pick that up.

    They've taken out bases for one. The argument is the Tiberium infestation is so great that there are no more blue zones and there for no safe place build up bases. However in CnC3 we were building bases in red zones in the middle of a Scrin invasion, so that's a pretty lame argument.

    From what I saw there isn't even a Scrin faction anymore, which I'm actually thankful for. But that doesn't make sense story wise as to why they superior Scrin would just up and leave. The Scrin have been replaced by the Forgotten, which according to CnC2 were left so devastated after a NOD raid that they couldn't be considered a military or political power any more.

    The three factions are now subdivided like in Kane's Wrath which never really felt right with me. Others may have liked it though so I'll just leave that alone.
    Kane is supposed to die as in really actually die. Which to me kills the franchise right then and there.
