While price has still prevented some people from buying I think at this place in the game most people, that plan to buy have already decided which camp they are going to fall into regardless of that price. Parents buy Wii's for their kids, and Sony and MS fans have already made up their mind. Sure there will be some fense wavering people that do buy on price. But I think the real swing vote will be that people who were debating on picking up a stand alone blue ray player will pick up PS3's for a little more.
Hell I'm a 360 fan boy and anybody that's asked me about blue ray's I've told them just to get a PS3, even if they already have another console. You'd be pretty stupid not to at this point if you are looking for the player alone.
