Snow Leopard & Exchange

I tried to connect a MacBook Pro to Exchange 03 yesterday. First thing you notice is that the Exchange option in iMail is called "Exchange 07". There is no Exchange 03...which is, I'm guessing, 85% of the Exchange servers out there.

I never got it to connect in about a half hour, and didn't really have the time to diagnose if it was an Exchange 03 thing, a certificate problem...whatever.

Anyone else done this successfully?

Snow Leopard only works with Exchange 2007. The connectors between exchange 2003 and 2007 are completely different and it's only designed to tie into 2007. If you want to connect to 2k3 you need to use imap.

    K. Thanks Kryyst. Client doesn't want me to spend tons of time on this.....so I may, or may not, get back to it.
