I have a harddrive with programs on and it's xp pro and I have a
pc with xp home on it. Now what I want to do is hook the pro drive
as a slave and use the programs it has. Will there be any problems
with doing this.

Some of the programs on the XP Pro drive will not run because the PC will be unable to load registry information for them.

Hey DogDragon... This is not possible. Just about every resent program developed uses the Registry to hold key info on programs. It goes further than that. The registry tells the operating system how to launch the program, what resources the application requires, licensing, and so many other things. Just plugging a hard drive in and clicking on the EXE will not run the program. Sorry DogDragon.

It was just an Idea. The xp home is full and that would give me more
room and other programs. I'm just going to ghost the xp home to a bigger
Harddrive. and put the xp pro back into where I got it.
    But thanks
