Borderlands: oh god save me

Just who introduced us to borderlands? wax? Someone earlier? I nominate him/her for the icrontagion award.

I can't sleep because all I do is dream about phasewalking and squishing skags. What will become of me at the inevitable end of the game?

I find it rather enjoyable. I've just been too tired to sit in front of my computer at home since returning from ICOK.

I've had it for a week, and my cumilative play time is about an hour.

*Scheduling times to play a 4-player co-op game can be quite tough. :(

What do you mean 'the second time?' :P At the moment, I'm playing through it with four separate characters, some of which I'm keeping at certain levels and quests for certain groups of friends, and I'm trying to do single player as little as possible (only when I need a 'fix').

As a plus, that makes scheduling a BREEZE. What's that? It's only Preacher and Rexxar on today? Well, guess I'm playing my siren...

I guess I should set up my borderlands to show up on steam friends when I play it.

Meh, it was fun for a bit but I've already moved on.

I enjoy the mechanics but gods I hate the story aspect to it. It's horrible. Fortunately you can ignore the story for the most part just clicking ok/next through everything and looking for the next map pointer.

However after playing about 4 hrs of it, I've gotten over it. It's a fun diversion but it's nothing lasting for me. Most of the time that I'm playing it I'd much rather be playing Fallout 3.

Have you been playing primarily single-player or multi Kryyst? Only because I hear it does get sort of plodding and dull if playing single-player.

^this. MP is fantastic, but it could just be the company.

I guess I never mentioned - I've only played a few hours of single player, and a metric ton of multiplayer. Maybe that's why i'm enjoying it so much more.

I can easily imagine this to be so, unfortunately I have yet to experience its greatness because one of my friends has not yet finished downloading it so I'm holding off playing it until he is ready.

Only played local MP, for which it's a great diversion and lots of fun. But not my standard method of play ( I have weird hours).
