LOTR:BFME2 Online problem

Hi, new to these forums. I have a problem I have had for awhile that I can't seem to fix. This game, LOTR:BFME2, is a awesome online game. When I log in and I go in lobby and try to enter a game by clicking create a game/join game. I can move my cursor and click on things with it being responsive, but the Log Out and Options Disappear. Something I have noticed is when i go in and look at everyone who is at lobby, when there are alot of people with level 1 with 0 games played, including me, it will freeze if I try to join/create a game. Also, when I wait awhile it will close and say Game.dat has encountered a error and needs to close. The weird part is it only happens about 50% of the time. Also, I have frequent lost connection problems when im in the lobby/in a game room.

This is what i'm running-
Microsoft Windows XP
Geforce 9400 GT
3.00GB of RAM
2.80 GHz Processor

Any help will be extremely appreciated :)
