Icrontic's 2nd Winter Blast Weekend.

There is a history around Icrontic, of events being created because a member says, "Hey I'll be at ICHQ this weekend, we should have a party!"

Icrontic St. Patty's was started by GHoosdum, Oktoberfest by me, Summer Shindig by RyderOCZ, and IC Rennfest by Annes.

This event is no different, as it was started by TequillaSunrise, UPSLynx and Pragtastic last year, all saying they would be showing up at ICHQ for a weekend.

So, Icrontic proudly presents; the 2nd annual Winter Blast Weekend!

WHEN: January 22nd 6pm - 24th, 2010
WHERE: ICHQ

This event is a very laid back. There are usually no plans made except for trips to K-brew or to some awesome place to eat. It is a great time to get to meet and talk to fellow Icrontians, and if there is snow on the ground, make some epic snowmen!

So, post here if you plan to attend!

    I'm disappointed that I was first! The post sat here unattended for 90 minutes. I was even asleep! People had time time and the facility to first me!

    possibly in? this would be an awesome weekend for me to celebrate, it being right at the end of that whole 1-year-of-separation-to-file-for-divorce thing. we'll see.

    heh, I drop by to update the attendee list because I'm a slacker, and see that Thrax has been carrying the torch nicely.

    Makes me wonder why I have Ryder and Anne for thou? :p

    Put me down for tentative. I'm really going to try to make this one. It all depends on how quickly our server-room migration progresses. We might start as early as that weekend, which would suck.

    oh man, how do you do all that driving fatcat? I'm still recovering from the lake effect snow around Gary, Indiana driving back from ICNY.

    In retrospect, its seriously worth getting to see everyone in person.... except the following:
    1) going to spain all next week
    2) going to MN all the following week.
    3) its an incredibly long ways from northern MN to Detroit. (12 hrs in fact)

    We can celebrate my last week at my current job before I start my new and more awesome job! :) I have to work that Sunday at 1:00, so I get to be hung over on my last day! Wahoo!

    Just make it to ICSP and EPIC. I'm considering taking the ~9 hour trek to ICSP via car this year myself.

    I'll probably be there. I'm tempted to save money by skipping, but I'm hoping to sell my car soon, so I should make ICHQ trips while they're still easy.
