On moving an OS.

So, I have a question for those of you who have been working with Windows NT's guts for extended periods of time.

I want to take an installation of Windows 7, and move it onto a different partition. It's going from a standard hard disk onto a RAID-5 array, so it will be on the first physical partition of the array, just like it's on the first physical partition on its hard disk currently. What I need to know is, if I am careful to move all the startup files (bootmgr, bcd, whatever else) and I flag the target partition as active, will it be effectively bootable and unaffected by the move?

Negative, ghostrider, because you didn't copy the MBR.
