Vista/7 Partion shrink

I know there are some limitations to this, but is it relatively safe? I'm not seeing a whole lot of talk about people hosing up a drive with this. Sure would be nice if I could rely on this instead of gParted.

Anyone used it much?

    I've used it (and gparted) a couple times to dual boot a system.

    Good to hear. I always cross my fingers when I re-partion. Sounds like the Vista/7 thing should be used right after the puter's out of the box since it can't shrink past unmoveables like the pagefile.
