Assassins Creed 2?

Anyone out there pick up Assassins Creed 2, I'm flip flopping on it.

The reviews have all been awesome most coming to the consensus that it's an improvement over the first one in just about every way and fixes almost all the problems the first one head.

I'm in the camp where I loved Assassin Creed 1 in the beginning but quickly got bored of it after a a few hours with the rental. AC2, though from what I've read seems to have addressed all the reasons that I found boring in the first one.

Looking for some none-shill opinions from anyone here that has is.

I own it, but it's not in my hands yet. Seriously looking forward to it, though.

Couple of my friends on other boards have it and love it to pieces.

I love AC2. it's really long and it has lots of variety, it's more guided than the first one, but they only helps to stop the monotony that plagued the first one.

I have and it is a much improved game and definitely worth adding to your library. However there still are some minor problems Ezio much like Altair won't do exactly what you want, such as jumping off in the wrong direction. The dual blades while very cool, are hard to use against two guards, but so help me God if a civilian is around everyone seems to get stabbed. Other than those two issues it's been a great experience so far.

Can't wait to get it. Waiting for Christmas though. Played through the first again just to get ready. I've completed everything except for getting all the flags.
