Numerous BSOD's

Hi.

My mother brought her work computer home for me to look at. She had recieved the following error: "igxprd32.dll has caused a problem, and windows has shut down etc.." She recieved the error upon logging in. I set up the computer home, and logged in, no problems.
After a short while the computer crashed with this message: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0x0000008.

I booted into safe mode, but it crashed even then, with the same message. I booted into safe mode again, this time with no crash. I started troubleshooting the first error message (igxprd32.dll) and found the file to belong to the video driver. Downloaded new drivers and chipset update and installed. I also installed all the updates from windows update, mostly security updates and other small updates.
I booted the computer normally and it ran fine for a while, before crashing again, still IRQL. I did some googling and someone mentioned flashing the bios could help, so I did.
I now booted the computer in normal mode again, and it ran fine for a while until I now came over a new BSOD this time the "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
STOP 0x00000050"

I'm about to perform a repair install with the CD, as it's the only thing I can think of atm.
The computer is a laptop, HP Pavilion dv6000, although the HP website list it as a dv6101ea, based on serial and product numbers. Guess it doesn't make much difference. All drivers are from the HP website. It's running XP PRO.

Thanks in advance.

It's a shot in the dark, but driver replacement is the first thing I would have done, and it didn't pan out for the PC. Yeah, hit it with memtest.

Well, seems it wasn't the memory. 8 passes, 0 errors.

I might be able to find something if you PM me the memory dump.
