Logitech keyboard

I have a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse

Every time I open up in a morning i keep getting 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 row after row.
have then to turn off and restart. this is the second keyboard and mouse that we have had problems with. it's ok for several months and then just goes like this. put new batteries in both but no joy.

    Things can interfere with the reciever (speakers for example). Do things work alright if you put the receiver right next to the keyboard/mouse?
