4 pin fan connector?
I have a DC7700 mobo that hits me with an F1 halt if I dont plug in the chassis/system fan. Problem is I dont have that fan anymore. And all the other fans dont work due to having 3 pins and not 4. Now I know 1 pin is for power, the other for ground and the other relays communication between the fan and mobo, (speeds etc etc). Can't I just short the 1 pin with the other to clear the F1 prompt?
