I have a small issue. My Galaxy 260+ has hdmi and in order to get sound I need the spif cable supplied with the video card. The cable is compatible only with MB having a 2 pin connector mine has a 4 pin. anyone know where I my find a solution.

Sound is carried on the HDMI cable, normally. You have to plug the Vid card into the mobo in this case, I am taking it?

SPDIF should not be 4. The 4 on the mobo would be "regular" analog audio. SPDIF is digital, so only needs 2 (+/-).

Mobo manual should show what pin is what (even if for some crazy reason it is 4 pins)

sorry my mistake. its a 3 pin.

    1. VCC
    2. SPDIF
    3. GROUND

Connect the cable from the vid card to SPDIF and Ground pins.

If the cable has Red and black wires in it, red on SPDIF and black on Ground.

    VCC is left open.
